Net
This is some safety netting that I made for the stair at my camp. The net uses mesh knots, which are basically the same thing as sheet bends. If you try netting, I would recommend getting a netting needle. They are relatively cheap ($3-$4) and they make netting much easier. This netting is made with braided white nylon. I used my hand as a spacer to do the knotting, mostly because I was in a hurry to get it done. If I did it all over again I would probably use a piece of wood or perhaps a ruler to be a little more consistent with my meshes.
